7th Annual Friends of the
Huntsville Public Library Art Contest
Art inspired by the Great Outdoors
Open to all students 5-18 years of age.
Entries MUST be drawn on 8.5-by-11 letter-sized, white paper with the student’s name written on the back of the drawing.
Limit of 1 entry per person.
Entries must be submitted in person to the Library at: 1219 13th Street Huntsville, TX.
Once submitted, all entries become the ownership of the Huntsville Public Library.
Each entry must be turned in with an entry form and signed with the anti-plagiarism pledge. Only COMPLETED Forms will be considered eligible.
Previous winners are ineligible to win two consecutive years in a row.
Deadline to submit: 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st, 2017.
All entries will be judged by a panel of local community members selected by the Library. Fifteen winners will be chosen and the artwork enlarged and displayed in the Children’s Room Art Gallery of the Huntsville Public Library for one year. This program is supported by Friends of the Huntsville Public Library. Winners will be formally announced at the Artwork Unveiling Ceremony from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11th, 2017 in the Children’s Department.
